AI for Parents: Lacombe Council Parent Presentation

Wolf Creek Public Schools is pleased to invite all parents to an information session at ESLCHS on March 19 at 6:30pm designed to introduce our parents to the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its burgeoning role in education. Our district has been at the forefront of purposeful technology integration into teaching and learning and we have been part of many pioneering and innovative approaches utilizing technology as a tool to enhance learning and teaching in Wolf Creek Public Schools. This session is a continuation of our commitment to preparing our students to enter a world in which transformative technologies like Generative Artificial Intelligence will be a part of their work and personal lives. 

This session is designed for everyone, from those who are just starting to explore the world of technology to those who are tech-savvy. Our goal is to ensure that our parents feel informed, involved, and excited about the future of education at Wolf Creek Public Schools.  There will be an opportunity to try out a generative AI tool for those who are brand new to using these tools and also for those parents who already have some experience with AI; so bring your smartphone!  Together, we can prepare our students for a world where technology and AI are intertwined with many aspects of their present and future.
