Students start each day with a 10 minute home room class. The homeroom teacher serves as an advocate for his/her students with other students and staff. The home room teacher monitors student attendance, delivers morning announcements, and serves as the primary contact for parent questions and concerns. The Advisory period allows teachers to make connections with students at a time when they require positive role models, guidance and accurate information.
