A school council is a collective association of parents, teachers, the principal and community representative(s) who work together to effectively support and enhance student learning. It is a vehicle for parents to advise and consult with the principal and to advise the board or the charter board on matters relating to the school.
There are many opportunities for involvement, in addition to attending the regular school council meetings, sitting on a short-term committee or offering to share your skills with the group. We welcome your participation in any way that works for you.
